It started with more then 50 photografies of the most famous monuments of the city. Then we made the concept skechts and blue prints of the constructions. After the arduous work at the modelling fase, a several number of newspaper was scanned to built the textures.]]>

The publish agency asked to emphasize the features that would make it clever, so we have glasses. I used raytrace map in the refraction channel of the material editor. To have an indirect ilumination, I used ambient oclusion (mental ray render) in an omni light. A second light was positioned be side the character to generate a direct shadow and a volume light effect. It has been concluded in minus of 48 hours of work.]]>

I used an Internet photo reference to paint it in Corel Painter. First I used the &quot;acrilic dry brush&quot; to scketch, and then I turned it smooth with some wet oils brushes.<br />
